When summer begins fading into fall and hot days are replaced with the crisp, cool ones, fashion choices get to be adjusted—and inevitably, one of the most exciting is breaking out fall boots.
Boots just have a quality about them that sparks more joy than any other footwear. Be it the fact that their arrival signals the best season of the year or their ability to be the focal point of any outfit you wear, boots are the it-girl of footwear. Whether you’re brave enough to opt for a literal cowboy boot or would prefer a more subtle take with a pair of booties that incorporate Western details, you can find a pair that’ll be a seamless addition to your fall wardrobe.

Footwear has gotten a whole lot… chunkier in recent seasons, and boots are no exception. Chunky, lug soles and platforms have claimed a permanent spot on the bottoms of boots, and they make for an easily walkable, edgy footwear option that’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

Knee-high boots are a trend we’re happy to see back, and you can expect to see them everywhere the instant the temperatures drop.
